‘Cold brew’ refers to the coffee brewing process. Fresh ground coffee is soaked in cool, filtered water for 12-24 hours. After brewing, cold brew coffee can be heated and enjoyed as a hot cup of coffee. Heat the cold brew on the stove, in the microwave, or in an electric kettle. This after-brewing heating process does not affect the flavor or the benefits. In fact, it results in the smoothest cup of hot coffee available. The coffee is considered smooth because it is lower in acidity than hot-brewed coffee (using a pour over, drip, or french press.)
Joan + Joe Coffee Cold Brew is organic and uses alkalized, filtered water. These choice ingredients, combined with our signature process, results in the finest and best tasting cold brew on the market.
The decaf dark roast blend used for our decaf cold brew is bold and smooth, retaining all of its significant flavor due to the advanced and clean Swiss Water Process used to decaffeinate the beans.
